Hamlet Bios

 Adella Bailey (Ensemble), a junior, is incredibly excited to share this awesome production that the company has created together. Some of the previous shows she has worked on include The Monster Under the Bed (Ensemble), Einstein’s Brains (Ensemble), and The War of the Worlds (Commander Voght). She would like to thank her family for supporting her throughout the process as well as her fellow cast and crew mates; she feels so lucky to have helped create such a unique production with some absolutely amazing people, and she can’t wait to make more memories with Spartan Theatre. Audra Jones (Ensemble), was very excited to be spending the spring of her junior year working on Hamlet with her incredible cast mates and amazing director. She has previously appeared in The Monster Under the Bed (Ensemble), Einstein’s Brains (Ensemble), War of the Worlds (Announcer), and more during her time in Spartan Theatre. She would like to thank her parents and her brother, as well as her friends for being there and for being cool. :)


Caleb Sumpter (Ghost & Ensemble), a senior going through the last couple of pages to end his chapter of WSHS. This senior has been in a couple of shows like It Stays (bully), Einstein's brain (zombie), The Deliverance (Blake), War of The Worlds (Wilmuth), and Ghost Stories of an empty Theatre (Baltus). Caleb would like to thank all of his friends that loved him and supported him along the way and his teacher Ms.Nash for helping him become a better actor. May my heart be my guiding key!


Camila Lopez (Laertes) is so thrilled to put on such an amazing show for her last performance at WSHS. Some past credits of hers include Einstein's brains (Zombie #1), Trap (Candelaria Ortiz, 911 Operator, Queta Muguruza), and Ghost Stories for an Empty Theater (Whitney). She has also directed two winter one acts and part of a Blackbox show. She isn't going to cry but she will miss the department so so so much. She wants to thank her family for being her biggest fans, her dog for being a good boy, and her friends for making her laugh and keeping her sane. Thank you all for an amazing four years!!! <3 <3 <3


Camille Berger (Ophelia) is absolutely thrilled to be participating as a senior in her third production at WSHS. Her experiences in Einstein's Brain (Zombie Ensemble) and what would have been Matilda (Ensemble) have nourished her passion for theatre and the Spartan Theatre department. Camille is honored to have been part of such a unique experience for one of her last productions at West Springfield and hopes you enjoy show!


Cara Smith (Ensemble), a freshman, has had a blast on her first WSHS theatrical production. She has so much fun working with the cast to put on the synetic production of Hamlet (ensemble). Cara would like to thank her family for the support, the cast and crew for the fun times and the hard work, and Ms. Nash for allowing the opportunity to perform.


Claire Johnson (Guildenstern), a junior, is thrilled to be a part of such a fun show! This is her fourth show with West Springfield Theatre and she is very excited to share it with you. Her past performances at West Springfield have been in one of the VHSL performances (April), War of the Worlds (Ensemble), this year's Musical revue (Once Medley). She is so grateful for her family who have had to put up with her loud rehearsals in the basement for this silent show. Now lets get back to your previously scheduled program: Keeping Up With the Royal Family of Denmark!


Emma Baumanis (Rosencrantz) is a junior at West Springfield. She has worked for many Spartan Theatre shows such as It Stays (Sylvia), Stop (Olivia), and Better Luck Next Time (Skylar). Emma would like to thank the cast and crew for creating a magnificent portrayal of the famous Shakespeare play, and also, her family and friends for always being so supportive.


Emma Domachowski (Ensemble), a senior, is excited to end her high school theatre career with a performance such as this. Emma has been involved in theatre for a lot of her life and is sad to leave the stage. Some favorite credits include Snow White and the Seven Dwarves (The Evil Queen), Fiddler on the Roof (Avram), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Jesus), Einstein’s Brains (Gall) and her all time favorite, Peter and the Starcatcher (Prentiss). Emma would like to thank her family for supporting her throughout all of her productions, especially her mom for always being there at her shows and for dealing with her crazy schedule.


Jacob Desch (Assistant Stage Manager) is a senior and has worked on 10 shows in their Spartan Theatre Career. Their recent credits include War of the Worlds (ASM), Unsung (ASM), and Monster Under the Bed (Sound Designer). Jacob would like to thank his friends and family for always being helpful and supportive. They would also like to give a special thank you to all members of Spartan Theatre for an amazing high school career full of friends and entertainment. To the cast and crew, Break a Leg.


Jason Richter (Claudius) is a junior at WSHS, and is very excited for his first online prerecorded performance. Recent credits include Reporter Carl Phillips (War of the Worlds), and Gary (Ya Like Girls?) Jason wants to thank his family and friends for being there for him.


Kathryn Wevley (Ensemble & Gravedigger) is a senior this year and is excited for Hamlet to be her second to last production with Spartan Theatre. You may have heard her earlier this year in War of the Worlds (Dura) or seen her on the Spartan Theatre stage in Einstein's Brain (Dura) or Les Miserables (Ensemble). She wants to thank Ms. Nash for all of her support. Enjoy the show!


Kaylee Wisner (Horatio), a freshman, practically bounced off the wall with excitement when she heard Spartan Theatre was doing a production of Hamlet. Despite being pretty new to West Springfield High School, you might recognize her from War of the Worlds (Announcer 2), the one-act "Distant" (Heather), both of this year's cabarets, or even the upcoming Musical Revue (Ensemble)! Kaylee would like to thank her family for putting up with her after three-and-a-half hour rehearsals, her friends for being themselves, and the cast and crew of Hamlet for being the most wonderful, hard-working bunch of weird teenagers ever to exist. Kylie King (Hamlet), a junior, was so thrilled to be apart of this amazing experience. It is her first year at WSHS and she can’t wait to see what the future holds. Favorite credits include, Shrek (Duloc Dancer), Peter Pan (Tinkerbell), Cyrano De Burgershack (Wanda), and last but not least, Wizard of Oz (Scarecrow). Kylie would like to thank the awesome cast and crew who worked so hard to make this spectacular production! She would also like to thank her friends and family for putting up with her and being super supportive 24/7.


Leah Carr (Ensemble & Gravedigger) is - silently- jumping up and down with excitement for everyone to see this show! She is so grateful that Spartan Theatre was able to continue during the pandemic, and she was able to direct and perform in Ghost Stories for an Empty Theater (Tina), direct Space Heater in the Winter One Acts, and perform in the fall play War of the Worlds (Operator 1). Before COVID-19, her favorite in-person shows to perform were Trap (Kenosha) and Les Misérables (Ensemble). She would like to thank her cast for working so hard to create such a cool product, and her family for hiding away during rehearsals so she could have some space to create! Much love! <3


Lilly Barber (Ensemble & Player) is a sophomore and this is her first year in Spartan Theatre! She feels so lucky to have been accepted into a department of such funny, charismatic, and wonderful people. She adored working on this show and can't wait to do more (hopefully in person)! Lilly would like to thank the cast of Hamlet for being the most hilarious people she's ever met, her best friends for always being supportive, and her cat, Wilbur, who honestly caused a lot of problems but was really cute while doing so. Enjoy the show!


Lydia Desjardins (Stage Manager) is a senior and is definitely going to get emotional. She has worked (or planned to have worked on) seven Spartan Theatre shows over the past four years and isn't ready to say goodbye yet. Favorite credits include, Into the Woods (Sound Technician), Les Misérables (Assistant Lighting Designer), and The War of the Worlds (Stage Manager). Lydia would like to thank her endlessly supportive family and friends, as well as Ms. Nash and her fellow theatre kids for making this tough year suck less. Be still my heart~


Meg Hogan (Ensemble & Player) is a junior who is overjoyed to be participating in her 3rd year of Spartan Theatre. She has been seen in the ensemble of other productions such as Kiss Me Kate with Summer Theatre Program and Spartan Theatre shows like Les Misérables, and Einstein's Brain, and in War of the Worlds she could be heard as Captain Lansing. She would like to thank Ms. Nash for making this season possible and her parents and friends for being so supportive. She hopes you enjoy the show!!!


Mia Bridges (Ensemble & Player), a senior, is so excited for you to see the show! She has previously performed with Spartan Theatre in shows such as War of the Worlds, Trap, Les Misérables, and Einstein’s Brains, among others. She would like to thank her friends and family for helping her get through the school year, and the company of Hamlet for creating such an amazing show!


Nick Frazier (Polonius), a sophomore, is really excited about this new show opportunity! You may have seen him this year in Losers in Space (Tom), and War of the Worlds (Vice President Harry McDonald), as well as last year in The Pastry Killer (Trevor). He would like to thank his family and friends for always being there for him and he hopes you enjoy the show!


Peyton Eisenach (Gertrude), is a sophomore. She is a dancer who has been on the dance team for the last two years. Peyton would like to thank everyone who came to watch and her family.


Zoelle Pierce (Sound Designer) is a junior who has worked on various Spartan Theatre shows including Einstein’s Brains and War of The Worlds. She would like to thank her family, friends, and Ms Nash for always having faith in her.
