Theatre Arts Boosters

All parents of students involved in our program, whether they are enrolled in classes, participate in productions, or both, are members of Theatre Arts Patrons (TAP)! TAP is the Spartan Theatre booster program, and the members of TAP support the program in many ways, including running concessions, helping with build days, reaching out to new parent volunteers and more!

Want to stay in the loop about parent volunteer needs, TAP meetings, rehearsal calendars and more? Join our Rallyhood site! Just click the button to the right to submit your email address and our TAP board will approve your request to join in a timely manner. Choose the amount of notifications you get and where you get them all in one easy site. All parents of students involved in the program are encouraged to join the Rallyhood in order to stay up to date!

Meet the TAP Board!

Our wonderful TAP Board is always happy to answer questions and welcome new members! Please find them at any Spartan Theatre events if you have a question or you'd like to know more about being involved!

Kristin Graham

Board President

This is Kristin’s second year on the TAP board, but she was very active in the WSHS band boosters with her older daughter (class of 2023), so she’s familiar with the performing arts community at WSHS. Kristin is a life-long theatre fan and wishes her life would one day suddenly turn into a musical – even if it was for only one song! Her daughter Lizzie is a junior who has been involved in theatre since 3rd grade (in three different states). Kristin’s dream came true when both her daughters performed in the spring musical (on stage and in the pit) two years ago. She is excited to continue her involvement with the outstanding team that produces such amazing performances.

Marcella TalCott

Board Vice-President

If there is a time and place for everything, then Marcella's time to sing On My Own on Broadway is still coming. She's quite positive the day will arrive soon, most definitely this year. Being practical and logical is one of her best traits; so, you can trust, bro [Fun Fact: She works at Irving Middle School and is well versed in Modern Youth Lingo]. She bides her time as a mother of three, a wife to one, and a friend to some. Her son just graduated as a Spartan in 2024 [she's pretty sure this was in error as she can't be old enough for this to be a fact]. Her middle daughter Max is an incoming freshman and can't wait to get involved in tech theatre. Her youngest daughter Theo will join Marcella at Irving Middle School. Marcella looks forward to the enjoyment of embarrassing her daughter every day at work. Marcella is elated to have successfully tricked the TAP Board into accepting her this year. She promises to do her best, however badly that might actually be, and if you ever feel hungry or thirsty at a Spartan show, then come by the concession table. She will happily make her apologies with food. Cheers to a great year, y'all!!

Jennifer Turner

Board Secretary

Jen Turner has been involved with TAP for four years. This is her first year on the Board. Previously, she has assisted with ticket sales, tech week dinners, and has been the Curtain Call Lead for one year.  Her daughter, Brianna, is a senior at WSHS and has loved being active in Spartan Theatre in a variety of roles on and off stage. Jen is excited to continue her involvement with Spartan Theatre and looks forward to a fantastic year.

Ann Schwartz

Board Treasurer

Ann Schwartz is serving as Treasurer for the TAP board in her third year on the board, where she is happy to do what she can to support the students, Ms. Nash, and the great WSHS theatre program.  Ann grew up in a theatre loving family, and is thrilled to have children who not only love theatre, but also enjoy performing.  Her oldest, Jaqueline Drobnis, is a senior who loves singing, acting, and dancing, and has found her home at WSHS on stage and in the choir.  Ann looks forward to seeing the amazing work of the students and theatre community this year at WSHS.
