Crew Bios
Alanna Garagliano
(Stage Manager) is a Senior who is honored to work on the fall play for the third year. She previously was an assistant stage manager for Les Miserables, the Winter One Acts last year and Monster Under The Bed. She would like to say thank you to every crew member working closely with her, and she would like to dedicate her performance tonight to her parents, who she loves so much.
Alex Adams
(Prop Crew), a junior, is doing crew for the first time ever. They enjoy it an awfully large amount and most definitely do it again.

(Production Manager/Ensemble) is a Senior.
Alex Park
(Madder/Assistant Stage Manager) is thrilled to perform for you all today! She is currently a senior and is an active member of both the choir and theatre departments at West Springfield. Her past credits include the Summer Theatre Program’s Newsies and Kiss Me Kate, West Springfield High School’s Into the Woods, The Monster Under the Bed, and Les Miserables, and Hayfield Secondary School’s Footloose the Musical. She would like to thank her family, friends, her voice teacher Mrs. Cara, and her director Ms. Nash for all their support. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Alyxandarius Strong
(Costume Designer/AME), a junior, gets concussions often. Alyx has worked many shows as a tech in his time here, loving every second of it. Past shows include: working Les Misérables as sound, and Into the Woods as lights. He would like to thank his family for dealing with his concussions and helping him to continue technical theatre. Special shout out to all his friends for helping to look after him an reprimanding him when necessary. He loves all his friends very much for sticking with him. Live long and stay Strong!
Anna Griesshammer
(Technical Director), a junior, is excited to be working on this year’s fall play. After doing lighting and set building for Into the Woods, she was on the scenic crew for Monster Under the Bed, acted as Max in the One Act: Overactive Mind/Toxic Thoughts, and acted as Hugo as well as assistant designing and building the set for Les Misérables. Anna hopes to build a career in theatre by taking both acting and tech classes at WSHS. She enjoys many artistic hobbies such as singing and piano. Since she has been a kid, Anna has seen many live performances with her family, especially Shakespeare.
Charles Heinbaugh
(Einstein’s Brain/Assistant Props Designer), a junior, is ecstatic to finally utilize his ten years of German education for the role of Einstein’s Brain. Some of his favorite roles include Dickie Harrington in Awesome 80s Prom, Brujon in Les Misérables and James in last year’s VHSL One Act “It Stays”. In his free time he performs in local bands such as Milk Ice & Fry, Pipe Dream, and definitely not Hotdog Water (who’s that?). He’d like to thank his fantastic friends and family for their enduring love and support and his dog Sharkbait for helping him practice.
Claire Johnson
(Costume/Makeup Crew) is thrilled to be a part of Einstein’s Brains at West Springfield. This is her first performance at WSHS theatre and her first show ever doing crew. She has done acting with multiple different community theatres but is very excited to be in the crew for this show. She wants to thank her parents and her dog for their support.
Dana Brown
(Assistant Costume Designer), a sophomore, is so excited to work on all these very different costumes she usually wouldn’t get to make. Last year she was assistant costume manager on MUTB, and this year she is excited to get to make more design decisions that will bring the characters to life. She would love to thank her theatre family that helps her de-stress and have fun while being useful and hanging out with her friends! Lastly remember to watch out for monster!

Diana Wilcox
(Props Designer/Assistant Stage Manager), a junior, is happy to be on crew again. Working on last year’s Les Mis (props designer), and One Acts (props designer), she is excited to come back for more productions. She would also like to thank everyone who has helped her along the way.
Emma Barnes
(Costume Crew),a sophomore, is excited to kick off another season of Spartan Theatre. Previously, she worked on lighting crew in Les Misérables and The Monster Under The Bed, and played Olivia in the 2019 Winter One-Acts. She would like to thank TJ Green and Cameron James for keeping her sane throughout the production, Mrs. Bridges and all the other parent volunteers for providing much-needed help and advice, and her parents, for helping her get through everything relatively in one piece.
Emma Baumanis
(Run Crew) is a sophomore who is helping out with WSHS Crew for the first time! She has performed in some Winter One Act pieces such as “It Stays” (Sylvia) and “Better Luck Next Time” (Skylar), and she is very excited to help out on the tech side of things. Emma would like to thank her friends, family, and all the people who have come to see the show.
Emma “Cam” James
(Props Crew) is a sophomore. She would like to thank all of the wonderful cast and crew and of course the adults that helped make this possible. She hopes that everyone watching this will love it as much as she has loved watching the show come to life through the hard work of every single person. In the past shows she has done were Monster Under The Bed (Props Crew), Winter One Acts (Daughter), and last but not least Les Miserable (Props Crew). She is very excited to watch the opening of the theatre season. Enjoy!

(Publicity Crew) is a junior and a pretty friendly guy who's just trying to find his place in this world!
Finley Cochran
(Jean Valzombie/Sound Crew), a sophomore, is very excited to be in his third West Springfield production! His previous credits include The Monster Under the Bed (Schoolchild), “It Stays” (Kyle), Sick (TJ), and Forced Adulthood (Carl). He is so grateful for all the opportunities given to him by Ms. Nash and would like to thank his parents for putting up with him for 15 straight years, his friends for not disowning him, and his best friend (He who shall not be named) for being awesome. He would also like it to be known that any rock gnomes in the audience should leave now.
Fiona Hood
(Costume Crew), a sophomore, is new to WSHS this year. This is her first show, and she is very excited to be taking part in this production. Fiona would like to thank her family, friends, and Ms. Nash.
Isabelle Milley
(Scenic Crew), is a freshman here at WSHS and Einstein's Brains is her very first show to be working on and it was an incredible first experience. She had a lot of fun and hopes to work on more shows in the future. She would like to thank Ms.Nash for letting her be a part of it all, Anna for putting up with the set group, and everyone else in set group for dealing with her weirdness.
Jacob Desch
(Sound Crew) is a junior, and is excited to be participating in his fifth show at WSHS. His credits include Sound Crew for the 2017-18 Winter One Acts, Props and Sound Crew for Into the Woods, Sound Designer and LX Crew for Monster Under the Bed, and Assistant Sound Designer and Sound Head for Le Mis. He would like to thank his friends, parents, Ms.Hriniak, Mr. Deleo and Ms. Nash for helping him along his theatre journey. To all of my fellow production members; break a leg!
Jenna Cain
(Publicity) is a freshman. This is her first show at West Springfield and she is excited to be helping out with crew!

(Light Crew) is a freshman, and this is her first time working on a high school show. She is super excited.
Johnathan Roundy
(Run Crew), a freshman, was born at a young age. He hasn't been a part of any shows here at West SpringfIeld or at IrvIng, but he has been encouraged to be a part of this show by his friends, like Justin Ly, and his famIly. He is very excited to be a part of future productions here at West SpringfIeld High School.
Joshua Sampley
(Run Crew), a senior, feels kind of out of place, but really enjoyed the whole experience. He joined the West Springfield Theatre senior year, but felt immediately welcomed. Josh has never been in any of the WSHS productions, but was in Washington Irving’s Xanadu (Greek Chorus) in 7th grade. Although he hasn’t been in any of the prior productions, he is more than grateful to have found a group who has accepted him as he is. Josh would like to thank his parents for pushing to do other things and helping him enjoy the different aspects of life.
Justin Ly
(Lights Crew) is a freshman. This is a new experience for Justin. He’s also been in one musical during middle school Mary Poppins Jr. (Chairman) and loved it very much. He is also someone who wants to continue with theatre but also wants to proceed in photography. He’s being torn apart by which route to continue. He loves to act and participate backstage with the crew and made some amazing friends. But he might have to leave in order to pursue his real dream of photography.
Kaitlyn Diem
(Scenic Crew), a junior, is excited to be a part of a spartan theatre production this year. Kaitlyn would like to thank Mia Bridges and Ms. Nash for inspiring and encouraging her to be more involved this year.
Kate McClurken
(Assistant Stage Manager) a junior, is excited to be a part of this amazing group. She previously worked costumes during Les Misérables. Kate would like to thank her parents and sibling for supporting her and her friends for always making her laugh. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Kyra Tannehill
(Scenic Crew), a freshman, is looking forward to seeing it all come together. This is Kyra’s first production at West Springfield as well as her first time in crew. Some of her favorite productions she’s been in are Mary Poppins Jr. (Mrs. Corry), Superhero Issues (Evil Prue), and Twelfth Night or What You Will (Maria). Kyra would like to thank her family for supporting her long nights and loud singing practice as well as her amazing middle school teacher, Mr. King, for setting her on the awesome path of theatre. Laura “L” Larrimore
(Ensemble/Costume Crew) is a freshman. L is ecstatic to be in both the cast and crew of Einstein’s Brains! This is her first play with West Springfield High School and will definitely not be her last. Laura has been drawn to theatre and music ever since she was a toddler. Her favorite shows that she’s been in are Oliver!, The Little Mermaid Jr., and Beauty and the Beast. She has made so many new friends through Spartan Theatre and wants to let them all know that they’re amazing!
Lydia Desjardins
(Master Electrician, Lighting Designer) is a junior and is excited to be working on Einstein’s Brains. She’s been a part of Spartan Theatre since her freshman year, and has worked on shows such as The Monster Under the Bed, Into the Woods, and Les Misérables. She’d like to thank her family for always supporting her, her friends for being cool, and Ms. Nash for telling her she has “senior energy”.
Madison Durkin
(Props Master), a junior, worked her first show for WSHS last year as a props crew member for Les Misérables and immediately fell in love with WSHS theatre and all the people involved. She hopes to help out with as many plays as she can for her last two years at West Springfield. Maddie would like to thank her family and friends for helping out, the amazing props crew she worked with this fall, Ms. Nash for bringing her into this crazy theatre world, and being a welcoming personality of the theatre program.
Max Kroll
(Lights Crew) a freshman, is supposedly very good on stage but for personal reasons (he doesn’t really know) doesn’t enjoy it, and has performed in several meager show roles, including Rerun (It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown), Tea Party guest number 2,(Alice in Wonderland), and one he can’t remember in second grade. He also has worked on various show crews, including sitting next to the guy working a spotlight in sixth grade (with visible frustration) because they put too MANY PEOPLE ON LIGHTS!!!! So yeah, not the most impressive resume.
Meg Hogan
(Ensemble/Lighting Crew) is a sophomore who is incredibly excited for her second year in Spartan Theatre. She has been in other shows such as Heavily Clothed and Calm, as Sophia, Les Misérables as part of the Poor ensemble, and Kiss Me Kate as part of the ensemble. She would like to thank her parents for being so supportive, her friends for existing and being fantastic, beautiful people, and the cast, crew, and director for making this such a great start to the season.
Naomi Yilma
(Props Crew) a sophmore, loves theatre and may or may not burst into tears during her first show at WSHS. Naomi is very excited for her first time working backstage its beautiful to help watch the show come alive. This is her first show and she's really excited. She would like to thank her parents for supporting her and driving her to and back from school, her friends for helping her survive, and her theatre Mrs. Nash for who without all this wouldn't have happened.

Sam McQuiston
(Costume Shop Manager) is finally a senior! She has worked every show since her freshman year and has loved every minute of it! She would like to thank her family for putting up with her insane schedule and Alyx Strong for being her amazing friend and designer throughout this show. She also wants to thank her boyfriend Murtuza Rizvi for the occasional rides to and from rehearsal. And lastly she would also like to thank Ms. Nash for the opportunity to work on yet another great show! Let’s get this show on the road (literally)!
Sam Woodworth
(Scenic Crew) is a sophomore working on the tech team. She has worked set last year in the play The Monster Under the Bed (Scenic Crew). She also acted in The One Acts in her freshman year. Besides working for her school Sam is experienced with acting outside of Spartan Theater. After working her first time with the tech team in The Monster Under the Bed and acting in The One Acts, she plans to continue working in both the tech and the performances here at West Springfield. Sam would like to thank her family for supporting her and everyone involved in the production for doing a good job on this production of Einstein's Brains.
Selane Martinez
(Costume and Makeup crew), a sophmore. This is Selane’s first show at West Springfield High School. She has been in costume crew at her old middle school, Fruit Cove. She’s glad that she met may new people. She can’t wait to help out in many more productions.
Trinity Green
(Asst. Master Electrician, Set Designer) is a sophomore who is very excited to be designing for the first time and watching it come to life on stage. She previously worked on lights for Les Misérables and was an assistant stage manager during the 2018-19 Winter One Acts. She’d like to thank Ms. Nash for trusting her to design a set even though she had no clue what she was doing, Emma, Sam, and Meg for keeping her sane while trying to manage AP World and theatre, and her parents for supporting her endlessly.
Zoelle Pierce
(Sound Designer) is a sophomore and is very hype to be working on Einstein’s Brains. She has previously worked on Les Misérables and The Winter One Acts 2018. Zoelle would like to thank the Desjardins family for basically letting her live at their house so she could work on sound. She’d also like to thank Ms. Nash for putting so much trust in her and also helping her through a new territory within the world of sound.
